Canadian Heritage
Canadian Heritage is a federal government body that delivers policies and programs related to broadcasting and interactive media, arts and cultural industries, heritage objects and spaces, official languages, citizenship participation and identity, human rights, Aboriginal Peoples, youth and sport initiatives, as well as national ceremonies and symbols.

Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Records
As a private non-profit organization, the Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Records (FACTOR) is dedicated to providing assistance toward the growth and development of the Canadian music industry. The foundation administers contributions from private radio broadcasters as well as two components of the Department of Canadian Heritage’s Canada Music Fund.

Ontario Media Development Corporation
The Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) is an agency of the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport and is the central catalyst for the province’s cultural media cluster including book publishing, film and television, interactive digital media, magazine publishing and music industries.

The SOCAN Foundation
The SOCAN Foundation is an independent organization guided by its own board of directors. The board, which consists of songwriters, composers and music publishers, reflects popular music and concert music genres as well as the geographic and linguistic regions of Canada.
