2005 Statistical Profile of the Canadian Music Publishing IndustryMay 15 2006

CMPA, APEM, and the Department of Canadian Heritage are pleased to release the results of a comprehensive study of music publishing. The study was conducted in 2005 by Paul Audley and Associates, and represents the first study done of music publishing in Canada in many years. “Having accurate, up to date statistics about our industry are of critical importance to having stakeholders understand the role music publishers play in the music industry,” explained Catharine Saxberg, Executive Director of CMPA.
