Last year was a busy one for Toronto-based CCS Rights Management headed up by CMPA’s President, Jodie Ferneyhough. CCS continues to grow its diverse and multi-genre catalogue with the signings of Alt/Pop band CAIRO, talented songwriter, guitarist and vocalist Terra Lightfoot and 17-year-old songwriter, Kayleigh O’Connor.

They join an already established and successful roster that includes multiple CCMA award winners Chad Brownlee and Jess Moskaluke as well as Rock and Roll icon Randy Bachman.

“We couldn’t possibly be more thrilled with the growth of our company over the past 12 months” says Jodie Ferneyhough, who recently moved to Los Angeles to help establish a better foothold for CCS writers and artists in the U.S.

“We have new releases coming all the time, artists like Jess (Moskaluke) are becoming stars on a national and international level and we continue to help foster and develop some really great young songwriters”.

CCS states: “With multiple award nominations under our belt, including three Music Publisher of the Year nominations at the Canadian Country Music Awards and a roster that ranges from Hall Of Fame inductees to up-and-coming young songwriters, CCS is well on its way to becoming a force on the international business stage.”
