TORONTO, April, 6, 2018—There has been an exponential rise in the growth of success in foreign markets for the Canadian music publishing sector. Following the federal government’s Creative Canada policy framework which focuses on a Creative Export Strategy and ahead of Canadian Heritage Minister Melanie Joly’s Creative Industries Trade Mission to China, the Canadian Music Publishers Association is releasing a timely report showing exports have become essential for the industry.
